Description

The Nomad Yak Saken Bag is a unique blend of tradition and modernity, designed for those who appreciate durability and style. The word "Saken" translates to "bag" in Tibetan, capturing the essence of a timeless accessory. Every herdsman in Tibet carries a bowl to accompany them on their nomadic journey across the grasslands, serving as a practical solution that lasts a lifetime. This concept inspired the creation of the Nomad Yak Saken Bag, a product that adapts to the fast-paced urban lifestyle while promoting sustainability.

n today's world, where disposable fashion dominates, the Saken Bag stands out as an essential item for urbanites seeking both functionality and an exclusive style to wear. Rather than contributing to a throwaway culture, this bag symbolizes a commitment to sustainability and mindful living. The Nomad Yak Saken Bag is thoughtfully crafted to be a lasting companion for your daily adventures, whether you're heading to work, exploring a new city, or enjoying a casual outing with friends.

  1. Durable Material: Made from high-quality yak leather, the Saken Bag is built to withstand the test of time, offering a reliable choice for everyday use.

His work not only redefines luxury as socially responsible but also invites users to experience furniture as a narrative: one of resilience, connection, and quiet luxury that echoes the vast, unyielding landscapes of Tibet.

Through the Nomadic Collection, Reynaert proves that true design is both a functional sanctuary and a subtle celebration of global stories.

Care Instructions for Your Custom Pieces

Hey there! We love that you've chosen our handcrafted items made from such premium materials. Taking good care of them will keep them looking sharp and lasting for years. Below, I've broken down simple, no-fuss tips for each material—think of this as your friendly guide to keeping things fresh. And remember, if you've got any questions or need a quick chat about specifics, just drop us a line. We're here to help!

Yak Leather

Your yak leather is tough yet supple, like nature's own adventure buddy. To keep it soft and crack-free, dust it off gently with a soft, dry cloth every week or so—think of it as giving it a quick pat on the back. For deeper cleans, mix a tiny bit of mild soap with water, dip a cloth in (don't soak it!), and wipe in circular motions. Rinse the cloth often and dry immediately with a clean towel. Skip harsh chemicals or direct sunlight; they can fade that beautiful patina. Condition it every 3-6 months with a leather-specific balm to lock in moisture—it's like a spa day for your piece. Got a stubborn spot? Hit us up, and we'll walk you through it.

Powder-Coated Metal

Powder-coated metal is your low-drama workhorse—super durable and rust-resistant, but it still appreciates a little TLC. Wipe it down with a soft microfiber cloth and warm, soapy water (mild dish soap works great) whenever you notice fingerprints or dust buildup. Rinse with plain water and dry right away to avoid water spots. For tougher grime, a non-abrasive cleaner like a baking soda paste can do the trick, but test it in a hidden spot first. Avoid abrasive pads or acidic cleaners—they can scratch the finish. If it's outdoors, a quick rinse after rain keeps it pristine. Questions on tough spots? We're just an email away.

Wood

Ah, wood—the warm heart of your furniture. Treat it like a cherished wooden spoon in your kitchen: gentle and consistent care goes a long way. Dust with a soft, lint-free cloth weekly, and for a deeper clean, use a damp cloth with a drop of mild soap, then dry immediately to prevent warping. Polish every couple of months with a beeswax or furniture oil to nourish the grain and add that subtle shine—buff it in with the grain for best results. Keep it away from direct heat, humidity swings, or harsh sun to avoid cracks or fading. Spills? Blot 'em up fast! If you're unsure about a polish or spot treatment, reach out—we've got your back.

Veneer

Veneer brings that elegant wood vibe without the full heft, but it needs a light touch to stay flawless. Dust lightly with a soft brush or cloth—no elbow grease required. Clean with a barely damp cloth and a touch of gentle soap, wiping dry right after to dodge any lifting. For shine, a quick buff with a dry microfiber cloth does wonders, or use a veneer-safe polish sparingly every few months. Steer clear of excess water, steam, or alcohol-based cleaners—they can swell the edges. Protect from scratches with coasters and pads. Spot something off? No sweat, message us for tailored advice.

MFC (Melamine-Faced Chipboard)

MFC is your everyday champ—scratch-resistant and easygoing. Keep it sparkling with a soft cloth and warm soapy water for routine wipes; it's forgiving like that. For fingerprints or light marks, a magic eraser (damp, not soaked) works magic without damage. Dry thoroughly to prevent any edge swelling. Skip abrasives or ammonia cleaners—they can dull the finish. If it's in a high-traffic spot, a quick vacuum with a brush attachment zaps dust fast. Wondering about a custom clean for your setup? We're all ears—shoot us a note.

Sunbrella Fabrics

Sunbrella fabrics are outdoor legends—fade-proof and weather-tough—but a little love keeps them party-ready. Brush off loose dirt weekly with a soft brush, then hose it down gently with low pressure and mild soap (like a fabric-safe detergent). Let it air dry in the shade—no dryer heat! For stains, dab (don't rub) with a soap solution and rinse well. Spot clean interiors the same way, vacuuming first. Reapply a Sunbrella-specific protectant yearly for extra UV shield. Indoors or out, it's low-maintenance magic. Got a mystery mark? Ping us; we'll sort it.

Kvadrat Fabrics

Kvadrat's got that sleek, modern edge, and caring for it is straightforward to match. Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment to lift dust—easy peasy. For spot cleans, mix a bit of upholstery shampoo with water, apply with a foam applicator, and blot dry with a clean towel. Let it air dry fully. Test any cleaner on a hidden area first to keep colors popping. Avoid steam cleaning or soaking; it can mess with the weave. For that fresh look, a yearly professional clean isn't a bad idea if it's heavily used. Questions on your specific Kvadrat shade? We're here to chat.

Gabriel Fabrics

Gabriel fabrics blend style and smarts—soft yet sturdy. Start with weekly vacuuming using a upholstery tool to banish crumbs and fluff. Spot treat stains by dabbing with a mild soap solution on a white cloth, working from the outside in, then rinse with a damp cloth and dry. Air dry only, away from direct sun to prevent fading. Harsh chemicals? Big no—they can weaken the fibers. For deeper refreshes, Gabriel's own care kit is a game-changer. Keep it looking luxe with minimal effort. Unsure about a treatment? Reach out anytime—we love geeking out over this stuff.

There you have it—your roadmap to happy materials. We're passionate about these pieces, so if anything's unclear or you need product recs, just get in touch. Happy caring! 😊
